Jobs and the careers page

Write a job once and it appears on your careers page, in Google's job search and in the job board feeds.

Posting jobs on Elsin is part of Platform and Enterprise, and the free tier allows one open job. On Starter and Integration your jobs live in your ATS.

Writing a job

  • Title up to 160 characters, department, location, and on site, hybrid or remote.
  • Full time, part time, contract, temporary or internship.
  • Pay as a range, in any currency, per year, month or hour. Shown on the job and to Google when set.
  • A description in Markdown, up to 20,000 characters.
  • Up to 30 questions: short or long answer, yes or no, one choice, or a link. Any can be required.
  • Up to 20 pipeline stages, a hiring manager, and whether a résumé is optional.

There are no knockout questions. Answers are for a person to read; none of them rejects anyone.

Publishing

A job is a draft until you open it. Open and public puts it on your careers page and in feeds; open internally keeps it off both. On hold, closed or archived takes it down. If your workspace has a job approval chain, a new job cannot open until it is approved.

Your plan's open job limit is checked when a job opens: 1 on the free tier, 25 on Platform. Closing a job offers to decline everyone still in its pipeline and email them. With a rejection template, the email waits an hour so you can undo it.

The careers page

Lives at /careers/your-slug, with each job at its own address. Candidates can search and filter by team, location and workplace, and a filtered list can be shared.

In Settings, Careers page, set a brand colour, a headline up to 120 characters, an intro up to 600, and a cover image with its focus point. Your logo is in Settings, Organization.

Each job page carries Google for Jobs markup. Feeds for other boards are in job boards.
