Emailing candidates

Each workspace starts with four templates: rejection, next steps, interview invitation and a quick note. Templates use fields such as {{candidate.first_name}}, {{job.title}} and {{sender.name}}.

Messages go only to addresses on the candidate's record, up to 100 a day per workspace, or 1,000 once it is 14 days old on a paid plan or 180 days old with two members, and appear on the candidate's Messages tab.

Replies go to the sender's own inbox. They do not come back into Elsin.

Notifications

For each kind of event, every member chooses in the app, by email, or off, with an optional digest. The app also reminds people about a scorecard owed for a day, a candidate sitting in one stage for 7 days, and an approval waiting 2 days.
