At interview: face continuity
Before an interview, the candidate scans the same ID again so you know the person on the call is the one who verified.
When it is sent
Automatically when an interview is scheduled or rescheduled, if the interview is in the future, the candidate has an account and a current check, nothing was checked in the last 7 days, and your plan has verifications left. Reviewers can also send it with Ask for a check before the interview.
The link stays open until a day after the interview, for at least 14 days and at most 90.
What it compares
The candidate scans the same ID and turns their head twice. Its one-way code must equal the one stored at verification, and the face must match that ID's photo on the device. No face template is kept between checks.
- Checked on device
- Same ID, and the face matched it on the device. A camera check never reports more than this.
- Manual review
- The face match was in the grey band.
- Failed
- A different ID or a face that does not match. The candidate goes to review.
The candidate can skip it. The interview goes ahead, and the candidate goes to review.
